What it does:
Pretorius Glucosamine and MSM has been specifically formulated to provide nutritional support for the joints, ligaments and cartilage.
- Glucosamine is a precursor to glycoaminoglycans (GAGS), which are a major component of joint tissue
- Glucosamine helps build and maintain cartilage, tendons and other connective tissues in the body
- MSM provides a naturally occurring organic sulphur compound, which has been shown to be beneficial for joints and inflammation. Sulphur is found in body fluids and tissue and is required for glucosaminoglycan synthesis
- The high sulphur content may assist in the management of inflammatory conditions like Rheumatoid arthritis
- Nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) are commonly used in the management of osteoarthritis. However, there is limited evidence that they actually improve the underlying pathology of the condition. Adverse effects are also common, making long term use inappropriate for many
