Citronella Oil 11ml Springfields
What it does:
Citronella is a powerful antiseptic/antimicrobial oil that originated in Sri Lanka. It can be used in a vaporiser to ward off infection or in steam inhalations for colds and flu. The fresh, deodorising quality of the oil makes it an excellent addition to foot baths for smelly feet or fungal infections of the foot. Prior to the introduction of modern insecticides it was often blended with Cedarwood as a repellent, add a few drops to cotton wool and pop into cupboards and drawers to ward off pests. The fresh and uplifting scent can also aid in the relief of fatigue and headache.
Aroma: fresh, powerful, lemony. A top note.
Blends well with: geranium, lemon, bergamot, orange, cedarwood, pine.
Caution: May be irritating to sensitive skin. Do not take internally. Essential oils should always be blended with a base oil (such as sweet almond oil) before being applied to the body.
